I saw more smiles and heard more laughs here than anywhere else in Japan. After being around grumpy old zangyo for a month, this was soooo refreshing.
Old man Sam with his sweet medium format camera. Highlight of the day was getting a thumbs up from him. (Close second was being offered a tripod to take pictures... a super rare gesture of kindness)

these pictures are hypnotizing Rex. and the one w/ the laughs--that is an amazing shot. very impressed. (p.s. the guy wearing the maroon shirt in the background looks like Sung and Shune fused together! haha)

ReplyDeleteAnyway, I basically said I appreciate the shots you took of the place, since it puts the sections/plans into context, and gives me a better idea of what the space inside is like.
I also commented on the detailing of the wood, and how precise the construction had to be to be within code. The handrail especially, that had to have been a nightmare for whoever designed it. Those slopes had to be PERFECT. Alot of money.
